My art explores the interplay of memory, place, and imagination: how living spaces come to embody specific emotion; how experience can influence the physical senses; and how present realities reshape our interpretations of the past.
ABOUT ME
I am a Chicago-based ceramic artist and painter. I was an art teacher in Chicago schools for 33 years and have been an instructor of ceramic arts at Robert Crown Community Center since 1975. Long fascinated with Chicago history, I was founding President of the Edgewater Historical Society where I still curate annual exhibits.
